I am so excited! Things are FINALLY happening with the Van-Dells Fan Club. After such a long stretch of down time...We are in the process of getting the fan club up and running again. After much thought and debate, we have decided to move the fan club to an "online" club. We had hopes of being able to build a website where we could have more interaction by the fans. It took until today to make that happen; but  we finally launched the new website! It is still under construction, but seems to be coming together fairly quickly. We should have more things added daily, so keep checking back!

Personally, I  have really never cared for "titles" and was always uncomfortable with being called the Fan Club President, so the new revamped fan club will have no "President", but instead, we will have a group of "Administrators". Lynn Bowles and Nancy Barrick have agreed to join me in keeping the site up to date and running smoothly. As most of you know, Lynn has always been quite a shutter bug, and is constantly taking photos and videos at the shows. (Unfortunately, I have kind of gotten away from that, but now have a real motivation for dragging the camera back out!) This site will contain exclusive video and photos from the shows. Nancy has great organizational skills and will keep the membership end of the site in order. We will all edit and maintain this site, so there should always be new things for you to check out! For the short term, this will be a free site, but once we get everything up and running, there will be some pages that are "members only areas" and you will only be able to access those if you are a member of the Van-Dells Fan Club. I will be sure to contact everyone long before that happens.
(FYI: I may still send out the occasional mailing, maybe once or twice a year)

We are very excited about the "New Van-Dells Fan Club", and are excited to see what the fans have to offer. There is a comment page on the site; please use it, and let us know some of the things you would like to see. The blog page will kind of take over for the old Yahoo Group, and we hope that everyone will start using this forum to "chat up" all things Van-Dell related!
